A bit more about us
A Family of Volunteers
Founded by Gregory Jamiel in 2023, Snovalley Pride is made up of a group of volunteers who are dedicated to celebrating the uniqueness and diversity that make our home in the Snoqualmie Valley one of the best places to live in Washington!
Rural communities may seem like they are not as open or progressive as our big city neighbors, but we want to encourage people to take a closer look at the amazing and progressive things that are happening here in the Valley that strengthen and celebrate our LGBTQIA+ members and our allies.
Together we can make a difference!

A FISCALLY SPONSORED PROJECT OF
A Supportive Community for All
When Gregory Jamiel, launched Snovalley Pride in January of 2023, he was blown away with the welcoming response from his Valley community! A relationship developed between him and Jody Miesel, Executive Director of A Supportive Community for All, and eventually the two organizations made a decision to work together to achieve the lofty goals they set forth for their organizations. In May 2023, Snovalley Pride became a fiscally sponsored Project of A Supportive Community for All. A Supportive Community For All creates a more equitable Snoqualmie Valley by engaging, connecting, and supporting people and organizations working together to collaboratively build a community where all members can thrive.

Land Acknowledgement
Snovalley Pride is based in the town of Carnation, WA which is on the Indigenous Land of Coast Salish peoples who have reserved treaty rights to this land, specifically the Snoqualmie Tribe (sdukʷalbixʷ). For more than 500 years, Native communities across the Americas have demonstrated resilience, and resistance in the face of violent efforts to separate them from their land, culture and each other. They remain at the forefront of movements to protect our Mother Earth and the life She sustains. Acknowledging Indigenous lands recognizes the long history of the land upon which we reside, and places us in that context of history.
